Parking and Guest Services Attendant

Vanderbilt University is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking and Guest Services Attendant. This role will provide exceptional service to fans and visitors at our home athletic events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare parking lots and garages for event operations, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for all.
  • Scan parking passes and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist fans with directions and provide clear communication to ensure a smooth game day experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Collaborate with other event staff to ensure a cohesive and well-executed event.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to operate technological devices, including scanners and payment systems.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
