Government Sales Account Manager

At Lowe Electric Supply Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Government Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with government customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage statewide contracts, including contract implementation, punch-out development, and mandatory reporting.
- Train internal sales teams on government sector policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal partners to support and grow government contracts and accounts.
- Create and implement a goal-based marketing plan for government agencies.
- Represent Lowe Electric Supply Company at industry events and conferences.
- Work with sales leaders to create and review sales goals and expense budgets.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years of related experience in sales or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
- Knowledge of accounting software, contact management systems, and other relevant tools.
This is a full-time, exempt position that requires occasional travel and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the government sales process and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
