ROLE OVERVIEW

The Bartender is tasked with warmly welcoming guests, accurately processing all food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide guests with detailed information regarding menu selections, pricing, and allergen details.
  • Recognize and nurture relationships with regular guests to encourage repeat visits.
  • Efficiently take and input orders into the POS system.
  • Ensure prompt service of food and beverages according to established standards.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels throughout the shift.
  • Assist in rearranging furniture as directed by management.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
  • Support food servers by delivering items in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to precise drink recipes when preparing beverages.
  • Organize and prioritize service tasks effectively.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints with a positive attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, as well as state and federal liquor laws.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards as per company policies.
  • Process guest payments accurately through the POS system.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and accounting procedures are followed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the shift.
  • Monitor guest behavior and report any concerns to management.
  • Refuse service to guests who are overly intoxicated in a courteous manner.
  • Complete all assigned tasks as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of required state work permits.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages and spirits.
  • Understanding of sanitation and safety practices.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
