- Proactively anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
- Deliver outstanding and professional service at all times.
- Present menus, respond to inquiries, and provide recommendations for food and beverage selections.
- Inform guests about current food and drink specials, including pricing.
- Inquire about any dietary restrictions or allergies from guests.
- Input all orders accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and the overall venue.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and follow supervisory guidance.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state regulations and training standards.
- Adhere to company protocols for bottle service.
- Follow established cash handling and payment procedures.
- Meet sanitation standards set by health authorities and the company.
- Complete end-of-shift financial reconciliation accurately.
- Communicate guest needs to kitchen and support staff efficiently.
- Prepare cocktail lounge/bar areas and perform opening and closing duties as directed.
- Ensure lounge furniture is clean and organized.
- Set tables with appropriate settings and stock supplies as needed.
- Report any damage or breakage of equipment to management promptly.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and training sessions.
- Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the company and its offerings.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance guest experiences.
- Completion of in-venue cocktail server training, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and Food Handling Certification.
- Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced food and beverage setting, preferably in a nightlife or lounge atmosphere.
- Familiarity with various liquor brands, beers, wines, and preparation methods is preferred.
- Must meet state legal age requirements.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Must be courteous, friendly, and welcoming to guests.
- Possession of alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local regulations.
- Able to accurately take and enter guest orders, ensuring correct table and position numbers.
- Capable of processing split checks and calculating tips according to policy.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the venue during shifts.
- Physical tasks may include bending, stooping, and kneeling.
