Job Summary

As a Territory Sales Manager at The Hillman Group, you will be responsible for managing assigned territories to achieve sales plans while maintaining excellent customer service and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Develop new accounts through prospecting and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Generate additional sales by selling new products and programs to existing customers.
  • Maintain consistent call cycles with existing accounts and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management, providing regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
  • Work closely with existing accounts to grow and develop their market share, building strong relationships based on trust and confidence.
  • Develop and implement sales proposals, plan-o-grams, and analytical analysis of business to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with current market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to management.
  • Ensure all administrative job requirements are completed, including expense reporting and business reporting.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of the company's policies, products, programs, and field operations.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Personal Leadership skills, including initiative, responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Internal and External Customer Service skills, including cooperative behavior, anticipation of customer needs, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong industry and job knowledge, with the ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The Territory Sales Manager will work in a sales/service environment, with varying conditions due to location and store setup. Travel is required daily, with the potential to drive up to 200 miles daily. The role requires hand/eye coordination, function vision, and hearing.
