Position Overview
The role of the Bilingual Sales Representative is to cultivate, sustain, and enhance business, social, and community connections with clients. Success in this role hinges on a profound comprehension of the sales process and dynamics, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities to achieve both immediate and long-term sales goals. All targets will be met by nurturing existing client relationships within designated regions.

Key Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
  • Capability to verify, draft, and update databases swiftly and accurately.
  • Willingness to learn Oracle ERP software.
  • Outgoing, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
  • Self-assured and mature with a positive work attitude.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel is required.

Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or GED is required; 1-2 years of sales experience in the Asian food sector is preferred; familiarity with Japanese cuisine is advantageous; basic computer skills, including word processing software; excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Core Responsibilities

  • Travel to client locations to provide information and support necessary for securing and maintaining business.
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance business, social, and civic relationships with clients in the assigned territory to maximize profitability.
  • Responsible for selling products to all clients within the designated area.
  • Expand business by anticipating client needs, identifying suitable solutions to business challenges, and delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Understand and implement the sales strategy and pricing adjustments as directed by management.
  • Communicate plans to clients and effectively manage resources to support sales volume.
  • Relay new product and service opportunities, information, or feedback gathered through field activities to the appropriate company personnel.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Assist in setting sales objectives for the territory in partnership with Area Team Managers or Sales Managers.
  • Work with assigned Operations and Logistics staff to achieve territory sales targets.
  • Provide timely reporting of field activities to aid in business and product planning.
  • Submit sales activity reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
