Position Overview:

The Event Suite Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to guests in a dynamic and bustling environment.

This role offers an hourly compensation of $30.00.

Benefits for Part-time Positions: Eligible employees can participate in a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, part-time, seasonal, and internship staff accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum of 48 hours per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and any unique offerings.
  • Deliver prompt, attentive, and courteous service to guests, ensuring clear communication.
  • Serve food items at the appropriate temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as per customer requests.
  • Ensure all ordered items are presented neatly, avoiding any spill-over.
  • Assist in pre-bussing tables and fully clearing them during busy periods.
  • Maintain availability to work during peak service times.
  • Restock beverage stations as needed (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.).
  • Exhibit high responsiveness to customer needs and requests.
  • Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen personnel to enhance coordination and improve the dining experience for patrons.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of bar offerings to accurately address patron inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma, G.E.D., or relevant food service experience is required.
  • Must obtain and uphold a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other necessary compliance training.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven atmosphere.
  • Effective communication skills with employees, management, and guests in a professional and respectful manner, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
