Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Program Manager to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our Federal Strategic Cyber program, you will be responsible for managing the technical, scheduling, and performance aspects of the program in accordance with contract requirements, company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage the technical, scheduling, and performance aspects of the program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Develop and implement Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services.
  • Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire staff as needed.
  • Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, and project reports.
  • Support the federal customer within the Department of Homeland Security's National Risk Management Center with task tracking, initiative implementation, risk assessments, and analysis.
  • Serve as the contract lead for customer initiatives, including creating and clearing draft Charter, Project Plan, POAM, and other necessary documentation.
  • Implement forward-thinking techniques to strengthen business operating practices, apply strategic analysis, cultivate customer relationships, and lead team collaboration.
  • Provide project management functions necessary to support the Customer's business processes and mission-related risk management initiatives.
  • Manage program resources with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Develop, review, and present information and reports, orally and in writing, to a wide range of senior staff and audiences internal and external to the organization.
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments, generally involving larger and more important projects or multiple projects.
  • Evaluate and determine changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Determine candidates for employment/termination, conduct performance evaluations, and salary reviews for assigned staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in strategic consulting, process improvement, change management, data analysis, training development, project management, and administration.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and DHS EOD (Enter on Duty) clearance.
  • PMP certification is desired.
