Key Responsibilities:

  • Parts Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts to technicians.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain organization and adequate stock levels in the parts department.
  • Vehicle Handling: Assist in moving vehicles within the service area and deliver to external repair facilities as required.
  • Guest Transportation: Provide transport for guests to and from the dealership when vehicles are serviced.
  • Parts Logistics: Collect and deliver parts to designated accounts as directed by the parts or service departments.
  • Bank Transactions: Complete daily bank deposits reliably.
  • Mail Services: Deliver outgoing mail to the post office each evening.
  • Title and Supply Verification: Check daily with the office for title verification or supply pick-up needs.
  • Department Maintenance: Keep the parts department clean by disposing of waste, sweeping, and dusting.
  • Core Returns: Prepare all cores for return shipment to the manufacturer.
  • Detail Support: Assist the detailing department with vehicle washing when needed.
  • Vehicle Assistance: Help push vehicles into the shop when they are inoperable.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a parts or service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy parts (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Time Management: Strong skills in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in parts delivery and department organization.
