Accounting Manager Job Description

Lamplight Farms, a leading manufacturer of innovative products, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. With a rich history spanning 60 years, we continue to grow and expand our product offerings, including the popular TIKI Brand Patio Fire Pit and Bitefighter LED String Lights.


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to our growth and success. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our accounting team, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis processes to support business decision-making.
  • Lead the fiscal financial close process and ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies, and maintain accurate and complete financial records.

Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.



Minimum Work Experience: Six (6) years of experience in accounting, preferably in a leadership role.



License(s) / Certification(s): Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
