National Accounts Sales Support Specialist Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the National Accounts sales team and customers with their requests and needs. This includes administrative tasks, data analysis, customer communication, and trade show support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and analyze data to identify problems and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the National Accounts sales team by analyzing pricing data, reviewing customer-specific pricing, and comparing data to RJ Schinner cost files.
  • Assure pricing data accuracy by adjusting and/or reporting discrepancies to field Sales Representatives.
  • Administer regular sales reports, conduct sales analysis, and report findings to appropriate Sales Representatives.
  • Respond to customer requests for product data and sourcing queries.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team and vendors to obtain samples for customers.
  • Support trade show activity by assisting with preparation, reviewing, and compiling leads, and coordinating sales opportunities between national accounts and field sales reps.
  • Assist with troubleshooting problems with customer orders, customer accounts, etc.
  • Work with Account Managers to create and implement targeted sales strategies.
  • Use data analytics to make recommendations to improve sales.
  • Keep up with new product sales launches and communicate with sales team.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of customer service, marketing, or sales experience.
  • Polished communication and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to interact and professionally communicate with multiple levels of an organization.
  • Effectively analyze data, identify problems quickly and implement appropriate solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Established sense of urgency.
  • Excellent detail orientation.
  • Remarkable with accommodating differing personalities.
  • Masterful relationship building ability.
What Could Make You Stand Out
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Prior experience with an ERP software program strongly preferred.
