Boutique Hotel Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Boutique Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest experiences and manage all aspects of their stay. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our guests.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Guest Communication: Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data, providing clear and concise information.
  • Room Assignment and Information: Welcome guests upon their arrival, assign rooms, and provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  • Conflict Resolution: Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to the satisfaction of our guests.
  • Collaboration with Housekeeping: Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Group Reservations and VIP Services: Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
  • Upselling and Additional Services: Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of bookings and payments, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Take food & beverage orders from guests and ring in the POS system, making cocktails and other beverages for guests.
Requirements:
  • Work Experience: Work experience as a Restaurant Server, Bartender, Front Desk Agent, or similar role.
  • Hotel Reservations Software: Experience with hotel reservations software is a plus, such as Room Master or Lightspeed.
  • Customer Service Skills: Positive and outgoing customer service attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills.
