ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strengthening customer relationships within a collaborative sales framework.
- Coordinating deliveries according to the transportation department's routing schedule; resolving any issues that arise during the order fulfillment process.
- Communicating and collecting receivables as needed, collaborating with the credit department and clients to ensure timely payments.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through market intelligence, business directories, and networking at industry events.
- Staying informed about market trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Traveling to visit clients and prospects to ensure product delivery, which may involve lifting/carrying items up to 75lbs.
In Colorado, the expected starting base pay:
$65,000 - $96,000 USD Annual (Field Sales Managers begin with a base salary before transitioning to an uncapped, performance-based compensation structure). This position is also eligible for commissions and incentive pay. WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Regularly working outside the office in the field, visiting clients in varying weather conditions.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
- Ability to foster relationships and conduct cold calls to generate new business.
