Senior Sales Account Executive

The Sr Sales Account Exec is responsible for building relationships with individuals and companies in the Payroll and HR community to sell the company's products and services and reach internal sales goals. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies for the Cannabis market.
Key Responsibilities- Create awareness and demand for the company's products and services
- Maintain communications with internal personnel to ensure efforts are in line with objectives
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing customers, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences as well as other industry events
- Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information, and quote appropriate customer prices
- Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
- Utilize CRM system for all sales leads and steps from prospect to client
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
- Negotiate details of contracts and payments within set guidelines and pricing
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to address customer requirements
- Assist Sales in preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Bachelor's degree in business or 5+ years related field experience
- Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
- Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment
- Demonstrated capacity to think outside the box, communicate and motivate customers on the company's products, programs, and new ideas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
