The Opportunity


ZipRecruiter is in search of a dedicated AV/IT professional to join our global Media Systems team as an AV Systems Engineer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent individual to support our audiovisual infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and able to collaborate effectively within a team.


As an AV Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with exceptional engineering, workplace, executive, and production teams to establish innovative video conferencing and collaborative environments across our global offices.

Your Responsibilities Include:
• Management of Deployed Infrastructure
• Coordination of Key Meeting Support
• Project Assistance
• Vendor and Contractor Task Coordination
• Development and Coordination of Technical Training
• Management of AV Deployment Standards

Daily Support Activities:
• Support for the Zoom Platform
• Updates to Conference Room Equipment
• Documentation Management
• Coordination of Equipment Replacement or RMA
• Evaluation of New AV Equipment
What You Bring:
• A passion for enterprise technology.
• A desire to engage with various departments to tackle diverse technical challenges.
• Willingness to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment alongside other skilled IT professionals.
• 3-5 years of experience or an Associate Degree in Sound Engineering, Live Event Production, or Enterprise AV Systems.

1-3 years of experience in:
• Developing Standards for Large Deployments, including System Design, Documentation, Vendor Coordination, and Installation.
• Supporting Enterprise Zoom-Based Conference Room Systems.

• DSP-Based Audio Processing for Large Meetings and Events, ensuring high-quality audio and video feeds for both in-room and remote participants.
