About the Role:
Cloud Chamber is in search of an experienced Senior Rendering Development Lead to assist in bringing our unique game vision to fruition. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our team of Rendering Engineers, collaborating closely with concept artists, Art Directors, and fellow programmers to enhance Unreal Engine 5 in alignment with your collective artistic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of Rendering Engineers.
  • Translate artistic concepts and pitches into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop innovative tools and systems to fulfill artistic goals.
  • Integrate and optimize data from offline third-party tools like Houdini into the runtime environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and artists to guide them towards efficient and high-performance solutions.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 2 published titles to your credit.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within graphics or rendering engineering.
  • Exceptional organizational, management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D mathematics.
  • Extensive experience with C/C++ programming.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern GPUs across the latest gaming platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Unreal Engine technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with third-party tools such as Houdini, Substance Painter, and Z-Brush in relation to graphics pipelines.
