The Inside Sales Account Manager plays a crucial part in driving revenue growth by penetrating existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with senior-level executives and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with assigned customers to ensure high customer retention and satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth through consistent achievement of individual and team sales quotas.
- Utilize phone and other IT tools to remotely interface with customers and deliver a consistent and clear proposition message on Aptean's products and services.
- Build a steady pipeline of new opportunities and close additional business through effective needs analysis and negotiation.
- Operate according to Aptean's Account Management processes, including the creation and maintenance of account plans, portfolio segmentation, and quarterly forecast reviews.
- 2+ years of experience working with B2B software solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and dynamic individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of collaboration across geographically diverse teams.
- Experience with CRM solutions, preferably Salesforce.
