About the Role

Gaudenzia is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Prevention Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our prevention program, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and supervision of all prevention programming and related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treating Clients with Dignity and Respect: Provide exceptional care and support to clients, children, and staff, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Program Development and Supervision: Plan, implement, and supervise prevention programming, including workshops and seminars for clients and the community.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate with the Chief Program Officer to develop, implement, and monitor training needs and plans for staff assigned to the prevention program.
  • Best Practices and Compliance: Remain current with best practices regarding drug and alcohol prevention and treatment, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation within the electronic health record system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established guidelines.
  • Staff Supervision and Support: Perform all supervisory functions with Childcare Workers, including direct supervision of the Program/Division Director.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate and attend staff meetings, functions, and special activities, maintaining contact with clinical/prevention staff at facilities whose clients the program serves.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate prevention programs with other cooperating Gaudenzia facilities and programs, ensuring seamless integration and effective service delivery.
  • Family Support: Support families in gathering necessary documentation for school-aged children, ensuring they have the required school materials and coordinating transportation services.
  • Developmental Support: Provide support for toddlers and young children exhibiting developmental delays or disabilities, ensuring they receive necessary services and accommodations.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Bachelor's degree or full certification as a Certified Prevention Specialist, plus specialized training.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health treatment program, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
