POSITION SUMMARY

The Healthcare Content Development Specialist is tasked with crafting and implementing content marketing initiatives for United Musculoskeletal Partners and its affiliated musculoskeletal practice partners nationwide. This position collaborates with key stakeholders and market leaders to produce content that captivates current audiences while enhancing patient education and awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulating and executing a detailed content strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives, target demographics, and brand identity.
  • Creating and overseeing an editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery across diverse digital platforms.
  • Enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation through strategic content marketing efforts.
  • Producing high-quality, engaging content across various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintaining brand consistency and adherence to the organization's style guide and voice across all content outputs.
  • Conducting interviews with patients and healthcare providers to generate compelling narratives suitable for multiple channels.
  • Crafting advertising copy for both physical and digital marketing materials.
  • Staying informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Managing and organizing content repositories, including content management systems (CMS), ensuring easy access for future use.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in content development.
  • Outstanding writing and editing capabilities, with a focus on technical writing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress, CRM systems, Meta, etc.).
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to comprehend audience demographics and tailor content accordingly.
  • Interviewing and editorial expertise.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and demographic targeting.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role may involve exposure to infectious diseases while interacting with patients and their families. The employee may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is typical of a healthcare setting.
