Aquent Studios is seeking a junior to mid-level UX Content Strategist (3-5 years) to become a part of our client's expanding UX Content team within the technology sector. In this role, you will craft experiences that resonate profoundly with our users' requirements by integrating our content design and accessibility strategies into our Design System and Figma libraries. You will contribute to the overarching vision for UX content and accessibility while upholding standards that ensure a consistent brand voice.

About You

Whether you identify as a UX Writer, Technical Writer, Content Designer, or Content Strategist, your enthusiasm for accessibility and content design is evident. You are a strategic thinker who values clarity in your UX writing and understands the importance of documentation for a cohesive and accessible user experience.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across teams with UX, engineering, accessibility experts, and product managers to establish and document component-specific writing and accessibility guidelines.
  • Conduct research, audits, and updates on existing accessibility standards.
  • Create inclusive and accessible content for user experience flows.
  • Maintain our content design documentation and UX content repository.
  • Define and document content patterns that are scalable across various surfaces and languages.
  • Assist in designing and organizing the information architecture of our expanding design system documentation.
  • Utilize research insights and data to guide your content decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of style guides, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to brand voice and tone guidelines throughout the customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, or technical writing.
  • 1+ years of experience with design systems.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Framer, Figma, and Airtable.
  • Experience in integrating brand voice and tone standards.
  • Proven commitment to accessibility and inclusion principles in your content.
  • A strong interest in design systems and accessible UX design.
  • A portfolio showcasing your work and process.
Compensation Range: $60 - 70/hr based on experience
