Position Overview

A Senior Art Director is responsible for generating innovative, strategic, and captivating concepts across various media platforms, including video, social media, digital channels, and traditional advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contributes original ideas across all media formats.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and emerging advertising practices.
  • Manages creative projects from initial brief through to final execution, collaborating closely with copywriters, strategists, and project managers.
  • Delivers unique visual concepts that align with brand strategies.
  • Works independently or collaboratively with a copywriter.
  • Conceptualizes across diverse styles that enhance a brand's distinct identity.
  • Collaborates with creative directors to articulate the rationale behind all creative work.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of client business models, key challenges, target demographics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Reviews creative work with leads and directors prior to client presentations.
  • Coordinates with project management and other departments to ensure all project requirements are met regarding content, timelines, and budgets.
  • Participates in or leads initiatives for new business development.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in an advertising agency or a corporate advertising environment.
  • Ability to present creative work to clients with strategic insights and a confident, persuasive style.
  • Experience in conceptualizing larger campaigns and initiatives is essential.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of AfterEffects and Premiere is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through seminars, workshops, or educational activities.
  • Must stay updated on industry advancements and technological innovations.
