President/CEO - Military Child Education Coalition

The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced President/CEO to lead our organization in its mission to ensure quality educational opportunities for all military-connected children. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing the development and implementation of our programs, and ensuring the financial stability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve MCEC's mission and goals
- Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services to support military-connected children
- Manage the organization's finances, including budgeting, reporting, and audit
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, education leaders, and community partners
- Represent MCEC in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in education, behavioral sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in senior management positions
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the nonprofit sector
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
