Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our leadership team and case management team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the workflow of our shelter, processing invoices and reporting procedures, coordinating and preparing data reports, and performing general office duties such as ordering supplies and managing database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the workflow of the shelter by processing invoices and reporting procedures.
  2. Coordinate and prepare data reports.
  3. Maintain hardcopy and softcopy filing for the shelter.
  4. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  5. Prepare and modify documents related to the shelter.
  6. Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, and managing database systems.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft suite.
  3. Detail-oriented and quick to respond.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  5. Able to prioritize workflow.
  6. High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
  7. Knowledge and skill in trauma-informed care.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Colorado driver's license.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to make public presentations, ability to manage databases, administer complex systems, and follow program policies. Ability to maneuver, remain in a stationary position, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate a telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from a computer. Ability to understand written information.
