About the Role

At Staples, Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Healthcare sector, focusing on large, complex customers.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including GPOs, IDNs, and Consortiums.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Healthcare industry.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies, including proposal development and presentation.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a focus on the Healthcare sector.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
