Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Account Executive to join our team at Spectrum. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Prospect for new customers and develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory
  • Generate all sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
  • Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing-cycle model
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets
