At Motion Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Infrastructure Specialist to play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of Splunk solutions for our federal clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and security, with expertise in deploying and maintaining Splunk infrastructure.

This position requires 2 days onsite in the Washington D.C. area per week and the candidate must successfully qualify for a Public Trust Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize Splunk solutions for federal clients
  • Deploy and maintain Splunk infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Splunk in a federal contracting environment
  • Splunk Certified Power User or higher certification preferred
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and custom development
  • In-depth knowledge of log management, data onboarding, and SIEM principles
  • Experience with federal compliance standards and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
