Job Summary

Empower AI Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Initiatives Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP) on the Platform Services contract.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, and at least 7 years of documented experience relevant to this key position. Possessing PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level III PM is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support, recommendations, and collaborating with JSP Solutions/Engineering on technical planning for future initiatives.
  • Developing recommendations for new/emerging engineering solutions ensuring they conform to JSP IT environments.
  • Managing, performing, and completing Government-approved JSP initiatives, which are internal Platform Services back-office projects.
  • Preparing Sponsor Forms for Government approval prior to beginning work on the initiative.
  • Completing all initiatives in accordance with the initiative plan (schedule, and performance).
  • Updating initiatives weekly or as agreed upon by the Government to reflect the initiative status.
  • Providing for each initiative the lead, requirement, scope, resources required, and schedule, as agreed upon by the Government.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, and - 7 recent years of documented experience relevant to this key position.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAU Level III PM.
  • DoDI 8570 IAT II certification.
  • Recent and relevant technical certification.
  • Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred qualifications include ITILv4 certification.
