Therapeutic Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) Recruiter

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Recruiter to join our team at Family Solutions. As a Recruiter, you will play a vital role in identifying and registering eligible foster parents for TFCO youth placement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to anticipate foster parent recruitment needs and develop effective strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement recruitment plans, including advertising and outreach efforts, to attract and engage potential foster parents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including DHS caseworkers, to solicit referrals and provide program information.
  • Recruit, train, and facilitate certification of foster parents, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up training of foster parents, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Provide Parent Daily Report (PDR) data to team leaders and program staff, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Attend weekly clinical team meetings to discuss recruitment efforts, foster parent progress, and program challenges.
  • Develop and deliver public speaking presentations to promote the program and engage potential foster parents.
  • Research and establish partnerships with community agencies to expand recruitment efforts and improve program outcomes.
  • Connect with referred foster parents to explain program details, benefits, and expectations.
  • Field questions and concerns from potential foster parents, providing clear and concise information about the program.
  • Complete intake questionnaires and accurately record and input information into our system.
  • Maintain spreadsheets for tracking outreach efforts and completed intakes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Participate in regular calls with DHS recruitment Liaison to discuss recruitment efforts and program progress.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding client information.
  • Coordinate with KEEP Group Leaders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Background in social services, child welfare, or mental health field preferred.
  • Experience in public speaking and/or conducting presentations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable car, and adequate automobile liability insurance.
  • One to two years of office/administrative experience.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
