The Custodial Specialist plays a vital role in upholding our mission by ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for both residents and staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly cleaning resident rooms, common areas, nurse's stations, and other designated spaces.
- Executing daily cleaning tasks in line with infection control protocols and safety measures.
- Maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' rights.
- Adhering to the dress code as per departmental guidelines.
- Demonstrating kindness and respect towards all residents.
- Ensuring floors are free from hazards.
- Utilizing proper body mechanics while lifting.
- Protecting and maintaining all work areas in accordance with safety policies.
- Completing additional cleaning tasks as assigned, such as washing lights, wall surfaces, and baseboards.
- Performing other duties as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
