Position: Custodial Specialist

Schedule: Full-Time Days, 30 hours per week

Compensation: $12/hr to $13.80/hr Based on Experience

The Custodial Specialist plays a vital role in upholding our mission by ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for both residents and staff. Key responsibilities include:
  • Thoroughly cleaning resident rooms, common areas, nurse's stations, and other designated spaces.
  • Executing daily cleaning tasks in line with infection control protocols and safety measures.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' rights.
  • Adhering to the dress code as per departmental guidelines.
  • Demonstrating kindness and respect towards all residents.
  • Ensuring floors are free from hazards.
  • Utilizing proper body mechanics while lifting.
  • Protecting and maintaining all work areas in accordance with safety policies.
  • Completing additional cleaning tasks as assigned, such as washing lights, wall surfaces, and baseboards.
  • Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
