Job Title: Youth Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Youth Engagement Specialist to join our team at Sasha Bruce Youthwork Inc.

About the Role:

The Youth Engagement Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the safety and conduct of house residents, providing clinical and crisis intervention as needed, and ensuring the overall well-being of our young adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement weekday activity schedules to promote resident engagement and socialization.
  • Conduct regular house checks to ensure resident safety and adherence to house rules.
  • Provide crisis intervention and on-site counseling to residents in need.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with program directors and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-3 years of experience in human services or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass required clearances.
  • Experience working with youth, teens, and families dealing with trauma, crisis, and community stress.
