Job Title: Youth Advocacy Manager

Truth Initiative is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Advocacy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Youth Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the Ambassador program, focusing on training, recruiting, and supporting young adult activists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the Ambassador program, working closely with the Outreach team to ensure successful implementation.
  • Design and deliver training curricula and ongoing education for ambassadors and high-level youth and young adult leaders.
  • Provide coaching and management for high-level activists, including monthly check-ins and trainings.
  • Build and foster relationships with former ambassadors, external organizations, and community leaders to recruit new activists and provide skills and resources to communities.
  • Develop educational materials, trainings, toolkits, and other resources for ambassadors and partners.
  • Facilitate trainings for activists and partners as needed, particularly as part of monthly trainings, summits, conferences, and other events.
  • Manage ambassador and youth engagement where Truth Initiative has contractual obligations to provide youth leadership.
  • Collaborate with external organizations and community leaders to recruit, train, and mobilize local activists to engage with decision-makers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in coaching and/or grassroots organizing, preferably in youth/young adult audiences and within BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ communities.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in facilitating trainings with proof of successful completion and understanding of concepts from trainees.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in designing and perfecting training content and curriculum.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in building relationships among diverse partners, including representing the team or company/organization in external settings.
  • Experience and skills in CRM tools and effective ways to communicate with activist bases.
What We Offer:

Truth Initiative offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$90,000 on a national basis, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, performance bonus for eligible roles, and competitive benefits.
