About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Flooring Sales Representative to join our team at Diverzify. As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in guiding our customers in selecting and purchasing the appropriate flooring options for their commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with suppliers, architects, designers, and contractors to provide expert advice on flooring solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and presentations to educate customers on the benefits of our flooring products and services.
  • Collaborate with the project team to coordinate RFI's, submittals, and installations, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting, estimating, and providing value engineering cost-saving ideas to customers.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads and work with suppliers to choose products that fit their budget.
  • Presentations should include information about the installation and maintenance of the flooring, as well as the benefits of our products and services.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED is required (Bachelor's Degree Highly desired)
  • Previous sales experience or building science/construction management or advanced commercial floor installation experience is required.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motorized vehicle
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Strong math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time may be needed and attendance to industry and trade shows may be possible
