Job Title: Certified Peer Support Specialist-Columbus

Recovery Center of Ohio, LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Job Summary:

The Certified Peer Support Specialist will work closely with clients to develop meaningful relationships, provide mentorship, and support their recovery goals. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of addiction, community resources, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with arrival and departure
  • Coordinate with treatment team for client care
  • Provide recovery education to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and agencies
  • Promote client self-advocacy
Requirements:
  • Peer Support Certification-Required
  • Current Adult CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of addiction and community resources
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to commute or relocate to Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction, community resources, and interpersonal skills.
