Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Recovery Center of Ohio, LLC. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals reclaim their lives from addiction and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with arrival and departure, transportation, and coordination with the treatment team.
  • Connect clients with community organizations, resources, and supports to promote growth and recovery.
  • Provide a model and mentorship for clients, assisting them in identifying personal interests, goals, strengths, and areas for growth in recovery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and agencies to promote client self-advocacy.
Requirements
  • Peer Support Certification
  • Current Adult CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Understanding of addiction fundamentals and community resources
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills
