Key Responsibilities
  • Provide peer support and guidance to individuals in recovery, promoting a sense of community and connection.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with clinical and case management teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Facilitate group support sessions, promoting a safe and supportive environment for individuals to share their experiences.
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and services, empowering them to take control of their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to Lighthouse's protocol and policies.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Lived experience in addiction recovery, with a strong understanding of the recovery process.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Lighthouse's Code of Ethics.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance.
  • Pass a background check and employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Work Schedule

The Peer Recovery Support Specialist will work a variety of shifts, including:

  • Sunday: 10am - 6:30pm
  • Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 8:30pm
  • Tuesday - Friday: 12pm - 8:30pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 6:30pm
