Job Title: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

The Sous Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing food production and supporting the Executive Chef in achieving our high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all recipes and guidelines to provide consistent quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow facility and chef's safe food handling guidelines.
  • Follow all sanitation and nutrition practices.
  • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Detailed oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and time management.
  • Banquet experience is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA and all local Department of Health Regulations.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Outlook, Esysco, and MS Excel preferred.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
