Position Title: Clinical Services Manager
Department: Administrative Services
General Hours of Work: Daytime Monday - Friday, with some evening and weekend responsibilities, and occasional on-call duties.
Exempt/Non Exempt: Exempt
Supervisor: Executive Director
Position Overview: In partnership with the Executive Director, this role is responsible for guiding the strategic vision, implementation, and management of the organization's clinical services. This position includes direct oversight of clinical department leaders within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A Master's degree in a Behavioral Science discipline from an accredited institution.
- Licensure in Minnesota as one of the following: LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LGSW, LISW, or CNSMH.
- A minimum of four years of supervisory experience in mental health service delivery.
- Demonstrated exceptional supervisory, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all services in alignment with the organization's policies and applicable professional ethical standards.
- Establish and maintain clinical procedures and documentation to comply with State and Federal licensing requirements and vendor contracts.
- Ensure adherence to policies, ethical codes, and relevant regulations, maintaining current knowledge of program requirements and reporting standards.
- Act as the organization's Privacy Officer.
- Oversee the overall Quality Assurance of the organization, developing and monitoring internal quality assurance and compliance measures.
- Manage program content, evaluation, and contract compliance to meet client and agency needs.
- Facilitate In-Service training and staff development to address the ongoing needs of employees and clients.
- Ensure all programs operate within the financial framework of the organization.
- Provide clinical supervision for all programs and personnel as necessary, including post-education state Licensure Supervision when applicable.
- Maintain a small caseload to stay current with field expectations, providing individual, group, family therapy, and emergency services as needed.
- Comply with all reporting mandates, including those related to duty to warn, child protection, and vulnerable adult situations.
- Be available for evening and weekend work as required by organizational needs.
Additional Duties:
- Lead new program development and manage contracts for those programs, along with ongoing evaluations.
- Provide consultation and educational services to community providers and resources as requested.
- Coordinate in-service training and manage professional development for staff in line with the organization's budget and applicable standards.
- Ability to travel as required by the position.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent travel to various facilities, ability to ambulate within and between departments, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, or lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional sitting and climbing or balancing may be required.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Communication and Reasoning Skills:
- Must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations within the Windows operating system is required.
- This role demands problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is necessary.
Work Environment:
- Potential exposure to communicable diseases in a healthcare setting.
