This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:- Provide patient care, medical evaluation, and establish dosing levels for patients receiving Medically Assisted Treatment.
- Interact with regulatory bodies, including Federal, state, county, and local authorities.
- Train and manage subordinate physician extenders and provide MAT services directly to patients.
- Plan and supervise provision of treatment for patients, ensuring quality and customer service.
- Sign patient record notes and oversee patient care provided by physician extenders.
- Admit patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment and oversee site emergencies.
- Conduct patient history and physical exams, meeting Federal and state guidelines.
- Initiate, alter, and terminate replacement narcotic therapy medications, adhering to strict protocols.
- Supervise medication administration and dispensing, ensuring compliance with Federal and state guidelines.
- Confer with patients' private physicians as needed and examine staff after on-the-job accidents or injuries.
- Provide patient education on various disease processes and oversee the continuum of care process.
- Maintain patient, employee, company, and computer confidentiality.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Family Practice.
- Current license and ability to prescribe methadone and buprenorphine.
- At least 1 year of experience in Addiction Medicine.
- Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
