Job Summary

Avera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to fill the role of Director of Clinical Services. This position will oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and execution of clinical services, providing direct employee supervision and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide direct supervision to clinical department leaders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and billing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community providers and resources
  • Provide consultation and education services to staff and community providers
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting mandates, including duty to warn and child protection
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavior science field from an accredited university/college
  • Minnesota licensure in one of the following: LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LGSW, LISW, or CNSMH
  • Four years of experience supervising staff in the delivery of mental health services
  • Proven excellent supervisory, verbal, written, organization, and interpersonal skills
