Role Summary: As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Traba, you will be instrumental in guiding our organizational strategy through insightful data analysis and business intelligence solutions. Your analytical skills will be vital in spearheading data-driven projects, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry developments and sustain our competitive advantage. You will collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership, immersing yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of a rapidly expanding startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and Implement BI Strategies: Develop comprehensive business intelligence strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Dashboard and Reporting: Create, design, and manage dashboards and reports that deliver essential business metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • Data Warehouse Oversight: Manage the development and upkeep of Traba's data warehouse to ensure data accessibility and governance.
  • Empowerment of Team Members: Equip team members with the tools and technology needed to independently address their analytics inquiries.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Offer strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on thorough data analysis and business intelligence findings.
  • Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics, implementing innovative solutions to enhance our BI capabilities.
  • Expertise Development: Utilize proprietary data and industry reports to establish yourself as a trusted authority in the light industrial sector and global supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong command of SQL.
    • Proficient in Python, R, or machine learning modeling.
    • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey data-driven narratives to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work across various departments, identifying and prioritizing analytics challenges to deliver actionable insights.
  • Curiosity and Initiative: A strong desire to explore data and ask critical questions, coupled with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Self-Driven: Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with analytics notebook tools like Hex, Hyperquery, or similar.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt or equivalent.

Salary Information: The compensation range for this role is between $110,000 and $140,000, based on market analysis and relevant factors. Exceptions may be considered for candidates with significantly different qualifications.
