We are seeking a knowledgeable **Analyst** to become a vital member of our Business Insights team. This position presents a unique opportunity to engage with our digital, informatics, and technology division while concentrating on essential patient care and research initiatives at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Examine revenue cycle data to uncover patterns, challenges, and enhancement possibilities in billing, collections, and financial outcomes.
  • Work alongside business stakeholders to comprehend processes, collect requirements, and convert them into functional specifications for dashboards and reports.
  • Design and refine dimensional data models to bolster reporting infrastructure.
  • Recognize project risks and provide management with strategic solutions.
  • Establish data governance protocols to maintain data integrity.
  • Generate ad-hoc queries and reports as needed.
  • Offer leadership and technical expertise to resolve system shortcomings.

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficient in healthcare revenue cycle operations and systems.
  • Knowledgeable about healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement practices.
  • Adept at fostering customer relationships and delivering solutions centered around client needs.
  • Capable of making prompt decisions and navigating intricate information.
  • Results-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Skilled in collaborative efforts to achieve common objectives.
  • Strong communicator and resilient problem-solver.
  • Quick to learn and proficient at applying insights to new challenges.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing reporting solutions across diverse platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL programming and Tableau/data visualization tools.
  • Epic Certified in Cogito Fundamentals, Caboodle & Clarity Data Models, and Revenue Cycle Data Models.
  • Familiarity with DB2, R, and Python programming is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAFe or agile methodologies is a plus.

This hybrid role necessitates one day a week onsite.
