As a Business Intelligence Analyst II within the Analytics & Applications team, your primary focus will be to assist the Small and Medium Business organization in achieving its strategic growth objectives through the development of self-service data analytics, insights, and comprehensive reports.


Your role will involve acting as a strategic collaborator, responsible for delivering data models, insights, and analytics that enhance our understanding of the SMB ecosystem, enabling swift business responses and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct exploratory data analysis, create data models, and generate actionable insights to support decision-making for business leaders across various departments including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering.
2. Identify and utilize appropriate data sources to contribute to actionable recommendations.
3. Determine suitable analytical techniques and critically assess assumptions.
4. Simplify and communicate relevant findings to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
5. Collaborate with other teams to identify data-driven recommendations.
6. Recommend efficiency enhancements for core processes and evaluate automated data collection methods.
7. Understand the connections between analytical models and participate in the review process, seeking to identify deficiencies when necessary.
8. Work collaboratively to ensure alignment in data sources and processes while engaging stakeholders to act on opportunities.
9. Stay informed about security and privacy requirements, ensuring data undergoes appropriate reviews.


Qualifications:

Required:
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or financial analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL.
• 1+ years of experience in scripting and data modeling in Python.
• 1+ years of experience with PowerBI and Analytics on Azure Data Platform.


Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field with 1+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in the relevant fields.
• Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing.
• 3+ years of customer-facing, project delivery, or consulting experience.
