About the Position:

The Analytics team at MeetElise plays a pivotal role in fostering data-informed decision-making throughout the organization. In this position, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to influence strategic decisions that shape our future growth, while conducting analyses that unveil new opportunities.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be an essential partner across various departments, including Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations/Finance. Your analytical skills will empower us to enhance our product offerings, gain insights into our operational systems, craft persuasive presentations for potential clients, and help our customers appreciate the value we deliver. You will ensure that our teams have access to the right metrics, supporting data, and insights necessary for evaluating operational success and driving crucial decisions.

In this role, you will leverage your quantitative expertise, customer-centric mindset, and collaborative approach to generate insights that unlock new avenues for business growth. You will analyze complex data to answer challenging questions and derive valuable insights regarding our clients, sales performance, and market positioning. We operate in a fully in-office setting, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform vague inquiries into clear, data-driven questions.
  • Formulate new hypotheses about our operations through an in-depth understanding of data, customer behavior, and business dynamics.
  • Establish success metrics by developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in close collaboration with Product and other relevant departments.
  • Work alongside Engineers to enhance the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data collection and processing systems.
  • Generate actionable business insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product and growth initiatives.
  • Create and manage KPIs and dashboards for Sales and Operations teams.
  • Ensure the integrity and accessibility of client and revenue data.
  • Analyze data related to sales and customer experience to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support executive decision-making with comprehensive data insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytics-focused role.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proven experience in extracting insights from data and summarizing findings effectively.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Basic knowledge of experimental design and statistical methods.
  • Willingness to work in person with your team on a regular basis.
