Position Summary

Are you passionate about data visualization and analytics? We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enhance our Sales Insights team. In this role, you will utilize data to deliver strategic insights that influence our business strategies across various brands. Your responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and address complex challenges. This position will require close collaboration with multiple teams to ascertain their data requirements and provide actionable insights through dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Generate precise, consistent, and timely reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Collect, cleanse, maintain, analyze, and interpret intricate data sets to support business strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to automate dashboards from diverse data sources.
  • Proactively formulate and explore hypotheses regarding brands, conversations, or audiences that may lead to new insights or initiatives.
  • Employ various data analysis methodologies and produce analytical reports during regular operations and peak periods, thoroughly examining and identifying business challenges, opportunities, and breakthroughs.
  • Continuously enhance analytical techniques and tools for more effective problem resolution.
  • Create and maintain data models, DAX queries, and Power BI datasets.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data connectivity.
  • Stay informed about the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • PL-300 Certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Power BI Analyst/Developer or in a similar capacity.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing principles.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing Power BI report performance, including data model tuning and efficient DAX query writing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) is beneficial.
  • Proven track record in consolidating and analyzing data sources to generate insightful business intelligence.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to support team members and take direction from senior colleagues and management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A demonstrated sense of curiosity and the ability to ask insightful questions.
