As an Environmental Project Leader, you will undertake a variety of tasks focused on achieving successful project results and fostering the professional growth of your team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Overseeing environmental projects, which include proposal development, client relations, project oversight, coordination with regulatory bodies, jurisdictional assessments, permitting processes, and conducting surveys for protected species.
- Achieving targets related to safety, quality assurance, human resources, financial management, and risk assessment.
- Acting as a Community Advocate to boost S&ME's presence within the community.
- Collaborating with project leaders and managers from other service areas regarding potential project opportunities.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences.
- 5-7+ years of experience in wetland assessments, stream evaluations, environmental permitting, and ecological surveys.
- Proven track record of effective team leadership and management.
- Experience and/or knowledge in GIS.
- Strong communication abilities.
