Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator at the U S National Whitewater Center provides hands-on support for the organization in the areas of employee onboarding/offboarding, employee status changes, personnel file management, process documentation, recruitment opportunities in the marketplace, and cross-communication with managers across all departments. As a front-facing member of the Human Resources team, the Administrator is responsible for facilitating positive and energizing interactions with employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of the onboarding/offboarding processes in conjunction with all employees, including personnel data entry, compliance task completion, system credentialing, background checks, and all corresponding employment documentation.
  • Point of contact for all human resources-related questions and maintain the ability to coordinate with all other departments regarding proper procedures.
  • Administration of requisitions, staff updates, management tools, and other documentation in the ADP Workforce Now human resources platform and other U S National Whitewater Center systems in conjunction with the Human Resources team.
  • Administration of Workers Compensation incident facilitation between employees and third-party insurance partners.
  • Assist with Benefit administration and recordkeeping between employees and third-party insurance providers.
  • Participate in recruiting events both off-site and on-site.
  • Learn and generate reporting to provide administrative support to the HR team and other departments.
  • Assist with assigned projects and analysis of current processes/procedures.
  • Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment and submit order requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or another related field.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or another administrative role.
  • Experience working in ADP Workforce Now or a similar HR information system.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit at a computer for sustained periods of time.
  • Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.
  • Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.
  • Must be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.
  • All positions at U S National Whitewater Center require employees to report and work onsite at U S National Whitewater Center locations.
