Executive Meeting Manager Job Description

The Parker Palm Springs is seeking a highly skilled Executive Meeting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and catering department, you will be responsible for handling groups with room blocks between 10-25 in all industries, from receipt through departure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication: Serve as the initial contact for clients, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure seamless communication and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • RFP Response: Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) within four hours, showcasing your ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Organizational Skills: Collaborate with both sales and service aspects of the program, utilizing excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish rapport with clients and gather essential information to comprehend program details and address group needs across all operational departments.
  • Work Output Management: Manage work output through the Salesforce/Delphi system, including tasks like bookings, contract merging, group resumes, and generating BEOs.
  • Cvent Management: Regularly update the sourcing platform Cvent with client responses, create e-proposals, and run reports to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills to foster client loyalty and trust.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless management of group events.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative in securing business and maximizing hotel profits.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in Hotel Sales on property working in a sales and catering system.
  • Technical Skills: Possess technical skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi/Salesforce.
  • Cvent Knowledge: Knowledge of Cvent platform a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a team environment.
  • Verbal and Written Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
