- Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
- Menu Development: Assist the Executive Chef in developing new menu items and specials, ensuring that they meet our culinary standards and are appealing to our guests.
- Cost Control: Work with the Executive Chef to manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to our health and safety protocols.
- Culinary Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Culinary Education: Higher education degree in culinary arts or hospitality management, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
