Hotel Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Director to join our team at Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other Hyatt services to mid-market groups and larger accounts.
  • Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of clients, conducting site inspections and generating new business opportunities.
  • Develop new markets and effectively engage a seasoned client base with high expectations.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals while maintaining organized documentation and reports.
  • Utilize Hyatt systems to enhance sales processes and ensure seamless customer service.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of sales manager experience in a hotel environment or hotel sales force.
  • A genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven group sales experience in a hotel, preferably with meeting space.
  • Track record of achieving sales goals and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications.
