Responsibilities- Telephone Management: Answer and triage calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility with an understanding of basic healthcare insurance benefits.
- Patient Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments under supervision.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, routing calls, and managing medical records.
- Referral Management: Coordinate and manage patient referrals and authorizations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations preferred.
